I grew up wanting to be the next baritone for Boyz II Men. Somehow, it didn’t work out, and after picking up the pieces of my life, I turned to writing. I wrote nonstop throughout my teens, studied the craft in college, and spent most of my 20s traveling, working weird jobs, and submitting stories for publication - 2 awards, 3 publications, 10,655 rejections (and counting).

My professional career has been made up of two tracks: community outreach (Whole Foods, IDEO, Kimpton Hotels, Destination Hotels) and content design (IDEO, Wideview, freelancing). FUNC. is a combination of those two things.
